Goal: Wanted a place to house my plants during the winter and to see if I could grow vegetables and flowers through the 4 seasons. Attached the garden room to the Chicken house.
Searching high and low through Craigslist / friends / Goodwill stores for used products to built and fill my project inside & out.
List of what was used:
*Windows (found on Craigslist) Energy Star rated*Skylights (found on Craigslist)
*Framing lumber (extra that friends had)
*Roofing (extra that friends had) it was flat rolled tar and gravel material that wasn't good, it leaked) had to apply a rubber top cover over that.
*recycled olive barrels (Craigslist) for rainwater.
*Plumbing materials (had all on hand)
*Ceiling fan (had that on hand) pull chain (Goodwill)*Pots ( had those on hand) and Goodwill
*Paint (new)
*Racks (new)
*Paper Shades (New)
