Gardening

Gardening is a must for me. I love the feeling it gives me to dig up the dirt, drop a seed and watch it grow. 

Pros: 
*Being able to successfully provide yourself and family with    fresh vegetables and fruits.
*Low cost to medium cost, depends on how you plan your  garden.

Cons: 
*Physical labor and time consuming. You have to dig your  ground or use pots. You may have to pull weeds, you do not  want to use chemicals.

*Weather may destroy all your outdoor efforts.

I do most of my gardening from the Old Farmers Almanac. It has great articles for Sq. Ft. Garden ideas and a lot more.
